April 1941, London. In an air raid shelter beneath Whitechapel Road, a woman’s mutilated body is found, evoking grim memories of Jack the Ripper. Detective Chief Inspector Coburg and Sergeant Lampson are dispatched from Scotland Yard to investigate.
