Galaxy of Terror (Region B)

Starring Robert Englund (NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET, THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA) and featuring Sid Haig (HOUSE OF A 1000 CORPSES, THE DEVILS REJECTS), this early 80s B Movie, clearly takes its cue from the likes of ALIEN and the explosion of late-night slashers that were dominating cinemas and VCR machines, to produce its unique brand of weird and wonderful science fiction horror.

When spaceship Quest sets off on a rescue mission to the planet Morganthus, the crew immediately encounter problems when their craft is forced to crash land on the strange world. But their difficulties are only just beginning as their enforced stay soon turns into a terrifying nightmare born out of their own imaginations.

A mix of creepily Lovecraftian horror and over the top thrills, this odd little dark fantasy showcases early work from the legendary James Cameron and takes us on a space-bound journey to Hell.
