Co-written by long-time Federico Fellini collaborator Bernadino Zapponi (who also co-wrote Dario Argentos Deep Red), and incorporating a specially produced erotic animation by Francesco Maurizio Guido aka Gibba (best-known for his comic cartoon King Dick), Plot of Fear is a disturbing and engrossing giallo.
