Cats of the Greek Islands Daybook

Cats are ubiquitous in Greece’s Cycladic Islands. They are never allowed inside family homes, but are nonetheless welcomed as fellow inhabitants. They are fed, cared for, but never pampered or tamed, leading spontaneous, natural existences, whether sunning themselves, befriending fishermen, patrolling their territories or stalking their prey. Here, in a perpetual diary for all the year round, the photographs of cats and landscapes are reproduced.
