This book is a journal of Barclay Fox, a British Quaker and businessman, who lived from 1817 to 1855. It was edited by R.L. Brett, a British literary scholar and professor. It records the daily life and thoughts of Fox, who was a keen observer and commentator of the social, political, and religious issues of his time, as well as a lover of nature, art, and literature. It was published by Bell & Hyman in 1979 and has 426 pages.
