He depicts the life of a Finnish peasant family in the 19th century, who are visited by a mysterious stranger who brings trouble and temptation. Published by Dymocks Book Arcade in 1953, it has 243 pages. Additional remarks, sun-faded dust jacket, yellowed front and back endpapers.
