Roy Rogers debuts in his starring role as the likable cowboy sent to Congress with a mission: let Washington know about the suffering of farmers in the wake of America’s 1930s “Dustbowl.” Using his skills as a cowboy and his lovely singing charm, Rogers stands up for the ranchers and townfolk to lead them to victory against the crooked politician who is plaguing their town.
