For 35-year-old Belfast window cleaner John (James Norton), his entirety was spent doting on his four-year-old Michael (Daniel Lamont), as it had been since his mother abandoned them after childbirth. However, John has been given a diagnosis of a few months to live-and it’s time he’s splitting trying to find the right foster situation for his son, and helping the boy understand the situation.
