Collins COBUILD Learner’s Dictionary

The new edition of the “Collins COBUILD Concise Learner’s Dictionary” has been designed for upper intermediate to advanced learners of English, especially those who wish to study the language for vocational purposes. Up-to-date coverage of today’s language and extensive supplementary material on topics such as academic writing and exam preparation should help students to gain a greater and more practical knowledge of the English language. It offers the traditional features of the COBUILD range: corpus-based text with simple explanations in full sentences; examples of real English from the Bank of English; and grammatical information shown in the extra column.
