This is an anthology of quotations from literary, religious and philsophical sources and is illustrated with original paintings and designs. The themes of the quotations follow a contemplative pattern from dawn to dusk, through midnight and the early hours, interwoven with a passage through life from birth to death and it reflects on themes such as learning and achievement, sorrow and disappointment.
