CFM GARDEN PLANNER

Published in association with Classic FM’s “Gardening Forum” programme, this journal presents the team’s tips on gardening problems throughout the year, solutions to common gardening conundrums, advice on which plants or trees to buy for particular locations, plus checklists for the reader and space for gardening notes. Divided into seasons, the planner discusses topics such as: salad leaves for spring, sowing and transplanting hints for seedlings, bulbs and woodland plants that can be planted under deciduous shrubs, how to grow flowers in a lawn, companion planting, late colour in the border, fruit bushes for small spaces, scent in winter, and trees and shrubs for wildlife interest. In addition, there are features on the team’s favourite containers and tools, hanging baskets with a difference, and recommended climbers for the different seasons. The book is written with the smaller garden in mind.
