Ciurlionis: Painter and Composer. Collected Essays and Notes, 1906 – 1989 with 209 illustrations is a book edited by Stasys Gostautas, a Lithuanian art historian and critic. It was published by Vaga in 1994 and has 558 pages. The book is a comprehensive collection of essays and notes on the life and work of Mikalojus Konstantinas Ciurlionis, a Lithuanian painter and composer who was one of the pioneers of abstract art and modern music in the early 20th century. The book features contributions from various authors, such as Vytautas Landsbergis, Antanas Venclova, Vytautas Kavolis and others, as well as illustrations of Ciurlionis paintings and musical scores.
